Parish Funeral Guidance

A valuable resource for individuals who have endured the loss of a cherished one. We understand that this may be an incredibly sensitive period for you and your family, and we sincerely hope that you find the information provided helpful. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this tender time.

Our faith teaches us that the funeral is the final journey before we arrive home - it is also a very important part of the grieving process. And whilst some different beliefs often involve looking backward, we as Catholics celebrate the life of our loved one; but also we look forward to the eternal life to be continued in Christ. and His resurrection. The funeral service allows us to let go of the mortal remains, by returning them, in trust to our Lord Jesus who has created each one of us.
